Mac is pleased to offer hand made float frames for your art work.
Obeche is a hardwood from the African Maple and is used for all frames. The wood used is blemish free and has no knots. Once constructed the frame is rubbed down and painted in the colour of your choice, to compliment your art.
Float frames are usually painted in white, grey, charcoal or black. A combination of colours can also be used.
Float or floater frames give the illusion of your art floating in a distinctive space within the frame. These frames are used to enhance stretched canvas, canvas board and wood panels.

It is important that the 'actual' measurements of your canvas are used when constructing float frames. Your canvas will normally be slightly larger than it's stated size due to the folding of the canvas at corners.
